Hi! I’m Matt Robbins…

And I’m a musician. I live in Brooklyn, NY, and I sing, play piano, and teach. I also studied electrical and computer engineering as an undergrad and have worked in software development for the last 15 years.

I created Harmonizr because I wanted to experiment with real-time self-harmonization the way I’d heard people do on youTube, etc. When I tried to research what tools people were using, it seemed like it was a big mystery. Some thought you needed special hardware, or a custom computer set-up made by a secret lab of uber-nerds at MIT.

But wait, I thought, I’m a nerd! I can do this! It took some time, but I played around and finally got something working. About a year later, I released the first version of Harmonizr.

It is my goal to keep Harmonizr as enjoyable, functional, affordable, and musical as possible. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!
